Envirosuite expands into Latin America with Chile contract win

By

Australian-listed environmental management technology company Envirosuite has won its first major contract in the agricultural sector with the sale of a new platform subscription to Chile’s Sopraval.

Envirosuite (ASX:EVS) says annualised recurring revenue of the contract, which was won through Envirosuite’s newly established office in Santiago, is $200,000 on an initial two-year term.

Envirosuite says the win with Sopraval — one of the world’s largest poultry producers — is one of the company’s largest on-going subscriptions to date worldwide.

Under the deal, Envirosuite’s technology will initially be installed at five of Sopraval’s 50 turkey farm sites, with the company’s Environmental Compliance and Impact Modelling solutions enabling Sopraval to better monitor current conditions and anticipate and manage impacts.

The Incident  Intelligence solution will also be used to help manage Sopraval’s interaction with the local community.

Sopraval Environment and Sustainability Manager, Jorge Dumont said, “We are very happy to be transitioning to the Envirosuite platform. The ability for us to use Envirosuite’s solution across our sites and get access to all relevant environmental information was a key differentiator for us.”

Envirosuite chief executive Peter White said the Sopraval deal marked “another major contract win as the sales momentum builds across the group, and this particular win is strategically important for Envirosuite as it opens up a new industry sector and geographic market of opportunities for us to explore. It also validates our decision to buy Odotech, further increasing our client base".

He said Envirosuite was looking to further expand, not only in agriculture, but also in the mining sector in Chile and other Latin American countries.
