The shooting left three people with non-life-threatening injuries. The victims are being treated at a local hospital.

According to Talamantez, the shots were fired at 9:19 p.m. He says roughly 50 officers were in the area at the time of the shooting.

“I can confirm that our officers have been working diligently all week to try to maintain an order in Panama City Beach with a crowd that just does not listen to authority,” said Talamantez.

He says the incident is an ongoing, attempted murder investigation.

Four people are reportedly in custody as people of interest.

Anyone with information on the shooting is urged to contact the Panama City Beach Police Department.
