Kazakhstan sees Bulgaria as possible gateway to Central Asian markets

Bulgarian Deputy Prime Minister in charge of justice reform and Foreign Minister Ekaterina Zaharieva is in New York for the session of the 72nd UN General Assembly. On the sidelines of the session she met for talks with her counterparts from Kazakhstan, Libya and Tunisia.

The Bulgarian companies can use Kazakhstanas a starting point for entering the markets of Central Asia, a region with a 500-million-strong market, said Kazakhstan’s Foreign Minister Kairat Abdrakhmanov.

The European Union is a priority for Tunisia and 80% if its trade is with EU countries, Tunisian Foreign Minister Khemaies Jhinaoui pointed out and voiced willingness to visit Bulgaria soon.

Thehead of Libya’s diplomacy Mohamed Taha Sialainvted the Bulgarian construction businesses to take part in rebuilding Libya after the revolution and said Bulgarian builders were known in Libya with the quality of their work and with the competitive prices.
